Chicago Dance Institute (CDI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that integrates social and emotional learning with dance and music in both public and private schools in Chicago.  Through in-school partnerships, residencies, and public performances, CDI operates as a catalyst to engage children and motivate them towards excellence. It was founded with the knowledge that the arts have immense transformative power and are the best vehicle for developing a standard of discipline, confidence, and expression.

CDI's Performing Arts Camp of Excellence (PACE) will offer a wide range of programming including: dance, musical and vocal instruction, theater, improv, and visual art*. Camp will culminate in a large public performance at Independence Park. All campers will receive a CDI t-shirt, and be led by a team of teaching artists trained in a pedagogy developed by National Dance Institute in New York City.

This program will run from August 10-21, 2015 from 9:00am - 2:30pm at Independence Park, 3945 N. Springfield Avenue in Chicago. All skill levels welcome. No previous experience necessary. Camp is co-ed and open to children 7-12 years old on or by August 10, 2015.
